On behalf of all those in our care, many thanks for considering a donation. All gifts should be directed to The Ohio Masonic Communities Foundation. Listed below are a few different ways you can give:

Cash Gifts

Outright gifts are the most immediate and direct way for you to have an impact. You can mail a check or money order to our corporate office at the address below, to the attention of The Ohio Masonic Communities Foundation. Or you can click on this link to make an on-line donation. Give Now! You can choose to make a one-time or a recurring gift.

If you’re not ready to part with your money today but still want to make an impact, consider making The Ohio Masonic Communities Foundation part of your estate. There are many options, such as a gift through your will or trust, or naming us as a pay-on-death or transfer-on-death beneficiary. Please visit Leave a Legacy for estate options.

Your donation of stocks, bonds or other appreciated securities can provide you with several tax benefits. In order to help us process and acknowledge your gift in a timely fashion, please call the office at 1-888-248-2664 regarding your intent to donate appreciated shares. Stock gifts are acknowledged based on the date they are received in The Ohio Masonic Communities Foundation account. Please allow time for your broker to process your request, especially at the end of December.

This gift can be as simple as making The Ohio Masonic Communities Foundation the beneficiary of your paid-in-full life insurance policy.

Donating your retirement assets, through a charitable IRA distribution, or by naming The Ohio Masonic Communities Foundation as a beneficiary can provide you with tax benefits and help with inheritance planning.

If you are over age 70½ and have an IRA account, you are required to take annual distributions to satisfy your required minimum distribution (RMD). Individuals may elect to distribute funds (up to $100,000/year) directly from IRA accounts to The Ohio Masonic Communities Foundation, without increasing your adjusted gross income (AGI). While these distributions generally do not qualify for an income tax deduction, a “charitable IRA rollover” is a great way to satisfy your RMD and make a nice gift.

Please contact us and one of our team members would be happy to help you determine what is best for you with absolutely no obligation.

This option can help you avoid the hassle of selling your home or vacation property. There’s even a way to donate your property that will pay you a fixed income for life! Please contact us to discuss opportunities.

You can give fine art, antiques, furniture and more. If you’re interested in this type of gift, please contact us (HL to contact us page) and one of our team members will work directly with you on the details of your donation to ensure that it falls within The Ohio Masonic Communities Foundation Gift Acceptance Policy.

For no-obligation insight into how these opportunities can change lives and play an important role in your charitable, financial and tax planning, please contact us at 1-888-248-2664.
